Braun Beard Shavers

Electric Razors - What To Look For When Buying
Electric shavers offer the ultimate in convenience while providing a close and comfortable shave. In our fast-paced society where every second counts, purchasing a quality electric shaver with all the essential features will increase the efficiency of the shaving experience.
The first electric shaver was produced in 1937 by Remington and since then there has been significant improvements thanks to the advances in modern technology. Basically, the concept of an electric shaver hasn't changed; it works on the simple principle of a series of rotating blades. The compact electric motor provides the power allowing the unit to run off standard AC current. They also come with a rechargeable battery that makes the shaver completely portable and able to be used anywhere and anytime.
Electric shavers provide many benefits and are very popular. Since the sole purpose of shaving is to remove excess or unwanted hair, these types of shavers do that with ease. Because of their design and the positioning of the oscillating blades, the shave is very close and of excellent quality.
Additionally, there is no need for any type of shaving soaps or cream to soften the beard hairs. This essentially saves time and money as those products are no longer needed to provide a clean and comfortable shave. Electric razors are made to cut hair gently and close to the skin's surface. Built-in safety covers minimize the chances of the skin being cut by the blades.
While electric shavers come with a power cord, the rechargeable battery feature makes them perfect for travel or for a quick trim before an important business meeting or special date.
When purchasing an electric shaver, keep in mind several key features that will improve the unit's effectiveness. Perhaps the most important feature is being able to use them for wet applications. This means they can be safely used in the shower or with the addition of a shaving conditioner. The unit may even have a dispenser built into the system that releases the conditioner. The wet use capability of an electric razor is definitely a feature that gives more options to the shaving experience.
Since shaving is all about cutting hair, different models may feature specialized cutting actions of the blades. The best type of blades lifts the hairs before cutting, making for a very smooth shave. A shaver that is configured to follow the contours of the face and neck is also an important feature and one that will make for a comfortable experience with less irritation to the skin.
A built in cleaning system is another essential feature. The base of this type of electric razor allows a cleaning solution to easily pass through the heads to remove all hair and dead skin. It's believed that this feature adds to the life of the razor by cleaning more efficiently than those that need to be cleaned manually. A cleaner razor will always provide a better shaving experience.
Electric shavers are a solid investment. They are easy to use, time-efficient and provide a smooth shave. With the right features, they can greatly enhance the overall shaving experience.

If I shave my beard will the empty spots fill out?
I am 23 years old my beard grows out messy and not that even and there are spots were the hair is very light , I never shaved it bald , I only use a Panasonic or Braun shaver but never did I shave it of completely .
My Questions are:
1- If I shave it every day will it grow out and fill out the spots? And how long do I have to do this? Or is there a better solution!
2- If yes how do I shave it, up towards my ears or down towards my chin?
3- Do girls like Beards (facial hare)?
Will shaving often increase my beard growth?
Answer:
Short answer: No! People get this impression because when you shave, the “ends” or points of the hairs become blunt instead of soft. So it feels rougher, but the growth is the same. The hair might look darker but it is only because the length is uniform.
One theory for the origin of the myth that shaving makes a beard grow faster is that humans perceive change by proportion.
For example: going from “zero” to half an inch in a month is really noticeable; adding a half an inch to a beard that’s already (say) 2 inches long is a much less noticeable change.
In the first case, it’s a “100%” proportional change, while in the second case, it’s only a 25% change. So even if a beard is growing at a constant half an inch per month, it will *seem* to grow faster at the beginning and slow down as it gets longer, because the proportion of change is dropping.
Can I do anything to increase my beard growth?
Answer:
Not much, sadly. 90% of how your beard looks is determined by genetics and age, whether it’s length, color and texture. However, good alimentation and grooming habits will help maximize what you have, keep the hair in optimal shape. Also, choosing the right style of facial hair can really help maximize the impact of your beard.
Facial hair is generally one of the last characteristics of physical maturity to develop during adolescence. Many physically mature guys don’t finish developing a fully adult beard until their early 20s or even later. If you’re still young, remember that your beard may continue to get thicker as you get older. Many guys notice their beards growing thicker, denser and faster when they enter their 30s and 40s. Give it time!
Some people might be tempted to use hormones or creams or treatments (etc) – to increase their facial hair growth. However, there is NO scientific evidence proving such products have any positive effects on facial hair growth speed, density or anything else.
For example, Rogaine is marketed as a way to grow hair on your head, but I don’t believe it’s been formally tested on faces. Keep in mind, this board is not meant to be a source of reliable information about this or any other medication. A medical doctor or pharmacist would be able to tell you more.
Is the braun 360 shaver good for black men who get razor bumps?
I’ve used the Braun InterFace and it works well up to a few months. I switched over to a cheap Remington but it doesn’t get close enough. For now I’m relying on a beard trimmer but it doesn’t get nearly close enough.
try shaving in the shower with hot water that works for me no bumps
I shaved my moustache with braun electric shaver and have had bad skin irritation all day, how to avoid this?
I usually shave about once a week. Last month I bought a braun electric shaver to shave my beard and moustache. Prior to that I was using an electric trimmer. But I needed a closer shave so I shelled out 80 bucks for this braun shaver. anyways, today morning, i was shaving my moustache using the braun, i was told my others to shave opposite the direction the hair grows in order to give you a better shave, well i first shaved with the braun built in trimmer along the grain in order to make the hair on the moustache shorter, and than i shaved against the grain, almost immediately after shaving on, washing my face with cold water, i noticed moustache area skin felt very irritationable, i thought it would away after 5-10 mins but the entire day my skin around the moustache area has felt irritated, did i do something wrong while shaving? can i shave a moustache agaisnt the grain? do you reccomend using any cream/gel to apply before or after electrically shaving the moustache? thks
dude every time you shave grab a paper towel and pour a bit of alcohol on it and then use it on the area where you just shaved i had the same problem you are just not used to shaving yet
Question for men! Input about shavers/trimmers?
I’m looking into buying either an electric shaver or a beard trimmer for my bf for christmas, but I’m stumped as to which might be considered better for everyday life.
My bf generally has a goatee and sideburns which on the rare occasion, he’ll shave it all off and start afresh. He has a trimmer that he uses to maintain the goatee that works but the adjuster part broke. I was thinking of getting him a new one, so he can trim his goatee without worrying about accidently shaving a streak through it *LOL*.
But then recently, he remarked on an electric shaver commercial “Cool..” so I’m wondering if I should get that instead? Is a shaver better and more effective, than razors?
So my question is for the guys, since I’m a girl and I don’t know anything about this stuff…
If you regularly have a goatee, which would you consider more valuable, a shaver or beard trimmer? One guy told me that often, electric shavers don’t shave closely as razors do, but they’re great to use if you need to get out the door fast. But I need more opinions before I can make a decision…
If you own either, what brand/model do you consider the best (Phillips? Panasonic? Braun?)?
Any input on either would be awesome because I’m completely clueless on this one *L* I’m personally thinking a trimmer might be more useful but I need people to help shove me in that direction *L*
Thanks in advance
A beard trimmer runs <$20. Rotary trimmers are best suited for longer hairs while foil shavers are good for short stiff hairs. Foil shavers are closer to razor, but nothing gets as close as a razor. Many men will use a electric everyday and shave with a razor on occasion. Panasonic, Braun and Norecel are all good brands. Myself I use a Wet/Dry foil shaver from Panasonic $90 and shave in the shower using a shower mirror. Would not go back to dry shaving but I still use a razor once a week. You might just want to get him a beard trimmer if your unsure. Some men can be very picky when it comes to shaving.
What is the best electric shaver for men ?
I’ve been having a wet shave with a razor. I want to try an electric one because I like keeping my beard short and nice.
I’m split between to things though. Razors that have got 3 rotating things or one that is like a normal long one (like a Braun shaver).
What is the best ? The differences ? Disadvantages and advantages ?
Thanks.
It depends on your preferences. Some men prefer the rotary shaver (three heads with blades that turn in a circular motion) while other prefer the foil shaver (single strips of metal covered in a layer of foil).
This website will give you the advantages and disadvantages of each and gives reviews for the best shaver. It helped me make up my mind what one sort to get for my son this christmas.
